Where is Wanroij?

Wanroij is in North Brabant, it's in between the towns: Haps, Rijkevoort, Landhorst, Wilbertoord, Sint Hubert, Leadeacker. It's part of the local authority Land van Cuijk (The area covers around 351.9km²). There are 33 towns in this local authority, with 93407 residents as of September 2025.

Avonturenpark De Bergen

This themepark has both an inside and outside playground. It also has a restaurant, a swimming lake, a karting course, paintball court and a camping site. It's located outside of town, on a street called Zoetendaal.

The tickets are €11,50 (children under 2 have free entry).

Het Raadhuis

het Raadhuis is a restaurant located on the main street (Dorpsstraat) in Wanroij. It has 2 types of restaurants: a regular restaurant and a fast-food place with Dutch snacks!.

However, this eating isn't the only thing you can do at Het Raadhuis. You can also rent rooms for work meetings or parties.

'T Hapje

This restaurant is a type of fast-food place, once again with Dutch snacks! This restaurant is located on the Main street (Molenstraat). The restaurant was the only place that sold fast-food in town at first.

Howah

Howah is an aunthentic Chinese and Indosesian restaurant, also located on the main street (Dorpsstraat). The restaurant also has the option to order on the phone/online, for delivery and pick-up.

Palinghuis Bardoel

This restaurant is located in the outskirts of town, on the Noordstraat. The name of the restaurant already gives away what they sell: paling is eel in Dutch. However, eel isn't the only fish they sell, so don't sweat if you don't like eel; you can just order salmon!

Maassen Bakkerij

This is the bakery in Wanroij. It has been around since 1795 and is located on the main street of Wanroij (Dorpsstraat). You can place orders for pick-up, but you can also walk in when they're open to buy something!

The bakery is a company run by a family since 1795, as I said before. The bakery has been run by the same family for 7-8 generations, and for 5-6 generations at this location.

Sport

There's a sports hall in Wanroij called 'Hoepel' This hall has 3 indoor fields, a seperate judo practice room, 4 outdoor fields, aa beach-volleyball field, and a seperate room for the archery club. The town has quite a few sportclubs/sports teams; a football (or soccer) club, a judo association, a handball club, a tennis club, and 3 billiard clubs. There was a volleyball club in Wanroij too, but they fused with another town nearby.
